KUALA LUMPUR, July 31 – Parti Ikatan Demokratik Malaysia (Muda) will be declaring the assets of its candidates contesting in the upcoming state election (PRN) on August 12th in the near future. The President of Muda, Syed Saddiq Abdul Rahman, stated that all party members running in the election are required to declare their assets in order to obtain the nomination forms from the President. “To become candidates, they are required to declare their assets,” he said.
Earlier, Muda announced that it will field 20 candidates to contest in PRN across four states, namely Selangor (14), Penang (three), Negeri Sembilan (two), and one in Terengganu. The Election Commission has set the polling day for August 12th, and early voting will take place on August 8th for PRN in Selangor, Penang, Negeri Sembilan, Terengganu, Kedah, and Kelantan.
