KUALA LUMPUR, August 13 – Barisan Nasional, together with its coalition partners in the United Government, respects the decision of the voters in the six states that went to the polls today. The announced results have reaffirmed the United Government’s control over the states of Selangor, Negeri Sembilan, and Penang. The mandate received today forms the foundation for the unity among the parties within the United Government to continue working together and strengthening synergies to uphold this coalition for the next 5 years.
