KUALA LUMPUR, August 23 – Allianz General Insurance Company Berhad (Allianz General) proudly announces that the Allianz Truck Warrior, an add-on coverage to its Allianz Goods Carrying Vehicle (comprehensive) policy, has been a lifesaver for over 4,000 policyholders since its launch in February this year. This service offers comprehensive roadside assistance to Goods Carrying Vehicle owners, ensuring their vehicles are well-protected in case of breakdowns or emergencies. With the Allianz Truck Warrior add-on, policyholders can avail roadside assistance up to three times a year.
The services include towing of Goods Carrying Vehicles up to 100km roundtrip by Allianz’s dedicated fleet of tow trucks, on-site repair service for breakdowns, and flood relief allowance of up to RM5,000 per flood event if the vehicle is damaged by a flood. Sazali Abdul Rahman, Deputy Chief Sales Officer of Allianz General, emphasizes that the goal of the Allianz Truck Warrior is to provide businesses with peace of mind, knowing that their Goods Carrying Vehicles are well-protected. For minor issues, a bike brigade is sent to get the vehicle up and running again for business continuity.
If towing is required, Allianz ensures prompt and reliable assistance. With over 4,000 Goods Carrying Vehicle Comprehensive customers opting for the Allianz Truck Warrior, it is evident that the service is appreciated for its end-to-end coverage and hassle-free benefits. For just RM120, customers can enjoy stress-free roadside assistance, which is particularly valuable considering the average cost of towing a lorry when it breaks down is around RM800. To be eligible for Allianz Truck Warrior, the Goods Carrying Vehicle must have an A and C permit with Comprehensive Cover, weigh up to 7.5 tons Gross Vehicle Weight (BDM), and be 20 years old or less.
Allianz Malaysia ensures that no matter the size of the vehicle, they tow it all! Allianz Truck Warrior is a welcome addition to the Allianz Road Rangers fleet, which already offers roadside assistance to motorcycles and cars, extending its support to Goods Carrying Vehicles as well.
