According to him, providing basic infrastructure such as roofs and complete toilets is better than constructing impressive landmarks. Before the end of October, all schools in the country, including National Schools, Chinese National-Type Schools, Tamil National-Type Schools, and Government-Aided Religious Schools.
We guarantee will have basic infrastructure such as roofs, toilets, and so on,” he said during the National Day Address at the Putrajaya International Convention Centre (PICC) on Wednesday. Meanwhile, in a different development, Anwar mentioned that the New Industrial Master Plan 2030 (NIMP 2030), to be launched this Friday, will transform Malaysia into a high-tech industrial country with digital transformation. He stated that NIMP 2030 would focus on shifts and provide wider opportunities for the country. It will not be confined to a single sector but toward the goal and mission of making Malaysia a high-tech industrial country, digital transformation, and providing benefits to hundreds of thousands of young people in terms of new jobs, he said.
Anwar emphasized that in recent months, Malaysia has once again become the focus of world giant companies that have agreed to make the country a significant investment hub. For us, foreign investment is very important if it can be continued. Malaysia can define its independence in which every young person is guaranteed a job and not unemployed, he said. He also mentioned that the government is planning to make changes in the wage system and the implementation of civil servant salaries. For the private sector, we are introducing a more progressive wage rate so that it is not the same as the old salary, he explained.
