PUTRAJAYA, September 2 – This year’s Merdeka Day parade was a vibrant display of patriotism and community spirit, and at the heart of it all was Maxis, making its presence felt with an impressive 108-strong contingent. Against the lush green backdrop of Putrajaya Sentral, the Maxis squad showcased their commitment to the nation, customers, and communities with flair. Maxis took the green theme to heart, and it was evident in their spirited display. The contingent was accompanied by oversized balloons, each telling a story that resonated with Maxis’ dedication to various aspects of Malaysian society.

First and foremost, they highlighted their support for Malaysia’s digital agenda, aptly named “Malaysia MADANI.” In an era where technology is pivotal, Maxis is at the forefront of pushing the country forward. Next up was their focus on affordability and adoption, a testament to their commitment to bring attractive value to all segments of society, with a special emphasis on the benefits of Maxis 5G. But Maxis didn’t stop there. They also showcased their dedication to education. One of their narratives emphasized providing free access to digital education for students, a crucial initiative in today’s digitally driven world.

This educational push, known as “eKelas,” aims to make quality education accessible to all. Adding a delightful touch to the parade were four Maxis fiber-branded utility trucks, which ensured that Maxis’ jumbo-sized Home Fiber mascot, the lovable Dinocorn, made its way through the Putrajaya parade route. The sight of Dinocorn brought joy not only to the parade audience but also to those watching and streaming the event from home. In celebration of National and Malaysia Day, Maxis released a poignant short film titled “Seiring & Seazam.”

This film, featuring talented Malaysian actors Aziz M. Osman and Iskandar Syahidan, posed a thought-provoking question: “What would become of this great nation if generations come together, hand in hand, on the path of progress?” Through their engaging participation in the parade and the release of this short film, Maxis reaffirmed its commitment to the country’s progress, unity, and the well-being of its people.
