GEORGE TOWN, September 6 – Penang Port Sdn Bhd (PPSB) is pleased to unveil new ferry fares, designed to enhance the passenger experience and uphold the highest service standards at Pangkalan Raja Tun Uda (PRTU) and Pangkalan Sultan Abdul Halim (PSAH). These revised rates will be implemented from 7 September 2023. The introduction of these new ferry fares underscores PPSB’s unwavering commitment to the ongoing improvement of services for all passengers.
Simultaneously, these adjustments support the upgraded amenities offered by the ferry service. The primary objective remains to ensure a secure, convenient, and delightful voyage for every traveler. The updated ferry fares are as follows:
- Pedestrians below 12 years old: RM 1.00
- Adults (12 years old and above): RM 2.00
- Bicycle: RM 2.00
- Motorcycle: RM 2.50
In conjunction with the new fare structure, PPSB will introduce a Monthly Pass option that offers substantial discounts for frequent commuters. Passengers can avail themselves of a 50% discount on the Monthly Pass until 31 December 2023. Subsequently, starting from 1 January 2024, a 30% discount will apply.
