SINGAPORE, September 26 – Singapore’s iconic heritage brand, Yeo Hiap Seng (Yeo’s), has unveiled the Yeo’s Drinkable Garden, an immersive experience at Gardens by the Bay. This unique exhibit, inspired by Yeo’s chrysanthemum tea, is a sensory journey celebrating the artistry behind their signature drink. The month-long installation is dedicated to the chrysanthemum and features various Yeo’s chrysanthemum brews, including their iconic Chrysanthemum Tea, the newly launched Snow Chrysanthemum Tea, and a Rose-Infused Chrysanthemum brew.
Visitors will learn about the intricate process of creating Yeo’s chrysanthemum tea, from growing and harvesting fresh flower petals to the brewing techniques and meticulous packaging. The exhibit also includes a special edition Yeo’s signature chrysanthemum tea commemorating the late Mr Lee Kuan Yew’s centenary. Mr. Ong Yuh Hwang, CEO of Yeo Hiap Seng, stated, “Yeo’s Drinkable Garden reflects our commitment to crafting drinks using quality ingredients, a celebration of our heritage merged with creativity and innovation.”
This initiative also highlights Yeo’s efforts to diversify its primary product ingredients to promote sustainable production practices. By exploring new chrysanthemum flower variants, Yeo’s aims to reduce its reliance on a single crop. The Yeo’s Drinkable Garden is a collaborative effort between Yeo’s, Gardens by the Bay, and the botanical studio This Humid House. It complements Gardens by the Bay’s Chrysanthemum Charm floral display and the inaugural Flower Carpet in Supertree Grove.
