KUALA LUMPUR, October 5 – Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM) has introduced a new pricing structure for its Unifi Fibre Broadband services, aiming to enhance affordability and elevate internet speeds for Malaysian consumers. This move follows the implementation of the latest Mandatory Standard on Access Pricing (MSAP).

The revised Unifi Fibre Broadband pricing offers more budget-friendly options and encourages more Malaysians to enjoy high-speed internet. The new baseline Unifi home broadband plan now offers speeds of 100Mbps at just RM89/month. Additionally, as part of a limited-time promotion, TM is making the 100Mbps plan available for RM89/month. Here is an overview of the new Unifi Fibre Broadband pricing for home users:

  • Unifi 100Mbps – RM99/month
  • Unifi 300Mbps – RM139/month
  • Unifi 500Mbps – RM159/month
  • Unifi 1Gbps – RM289/month
  • Unifi 2Gbps – RM319/month

Notably, TM is now offering its 1Gbps and 2Gbps (1Gbps + 1Gbps aggregated) fibre plans as standalone options, without the need for a bundled Unifi TV subscription. Existing Unifi customers will also benefit from a complimentary speed upgrade, which will be rolled out in stages over three months. This offering includes a 100Mbps Fibre plan, Unlimited 5G Postpaid, and a Free Phone for RM149/month.

Furthermore, TM presents a bundled package, combining 100Mbps Home Fibre Broadband, an Unlimited 4G+5G postpaid plan, and a free 5G smartphone, all at RM149/month. This bundle is subject to a 36-month contract. The 5G postpaid plan and free phone bundle are based on TM’s existing Pakej 5G Rahmah offer, which provides unlimited 5G data, 60GB of 4G data, 10GB of hotspot data, and unlimited calls for RM60/month. Additionally, TM announced a free speed upgrade for all existing Unifi Fibre subscribers. The free speed upgrade is based on the customer’s current plan and offers the following speed increases:

  • 30Mbps -> 100Mbps
  • 100Mbps -> 300Mbps
  • 500Mbps -> 800Mbps
  • 800Mbps -> 1Gbps

However, customers on the highest 2Gbps (1Gbps + 1Gbps) plan are not eligible for this speed upgrade. TM also confirmed that customers on the RM69/month 30Mbps Rahmah plan will not receive an upgrade at this time. Customers without contracts have the option to downgrade without penalty. This speed upgrade is available to existing customers, regardless of whether they are in a contract or not. TM plans to complete the speed upgrade process in three months, providing faster broadband speeds at no extra cost to its valued customers.
