Now in its second year, this exceptional road race promises an unforgettable experience encapsulating determination, accomplishment, and the relentless pursuit of greatness. Mr. Yogesh Gandhi, Managing Director of ASICS Asia, expressed, “The first regional edition of the META: Time: Trials in Bangkok garnered overwhelming support.
Therefore, for this upcoming edition, we have decided to offer a unique experience by relocating the event to Malaysia and opening registrations to the public. Our aim is to make this an annual event, moving to different countries within Southeast Asia.” This is an open invitation to participants of all levels, from seasoned runners to fitness enthusiasts, to join this distinctive time trial. It’s not merely a test of physical prowess but also a celebration of the mental fortitude needed to conquer challenges.

In the previous ASICS Southeast Asian edition of META: Time: Trials held in Bangkok, Thailand, Malaysian Muhammad Ikbolasen, a 20-year-old runner from Pahang, emerged as a standout star on his maiden overseas trip. His remarkable performance not only secured victory in the Men’s Elite 10KM category with a personal best of 31:31 minutes but also embodied the essence of the event.
