KUALA LUMPUR,October 14 – Malaysian Genomics Resource Centre Berhad (“Malaysian Genomics” or “the Group”), a leading genomics and biopharmaceutical specialist, is excited to announce a Strategic Collaboration Agreement with Persatuan Pentas Anak Seni Malaysia (“PPASM”). Working together with MGRC we can learn more about not just our health, but preventive healthcare as well. The partnership will commence with both parties actively organizing educational and promotional events. These will include online and offline campaigns that leverage the unique strengths of each partner. PPASM’s connections in the arts and culture sector, combined with MGRCH’s scientific proficiency, are expected to amplify the reach and impact of these health awareness campaigns.
This collaboration also has a charitable aspect, with net proceeds from the Miss International Malaysia 2023 event benefiting CSR initiatives such as the Sandakan Break Cancer Support Association, Kinabalu Pink Ribbon, and the Meraki Daat Sabah Initiative. This ensures that the collaboration not only raises awareness and educates the public but also has a tangible impact on charitable organizations working in similar domains.
In the spirit of September being Blood Cancer Awareness month, MGRCH recently collaborated with Yayasan Kanser Malaysia (“YKM”) to elevate cancer awareness and stress the importance of early detection within the community by utilizing MGRCH’s advanced genomic and immunotherapy services, including cutting-edge CAR-T cells and Natural Killer (NK) cells.
