GEORGE TOWN, October 19 – In a media statement released today, the Democratic Action Party (DAP) of Penang announced significant changes to the composition of the DAP Penang State Committee for the term 2021 to 2024. The decision was reached following a meeting held on the 21st of September 2023, to discuss the restructuring of the State Committee post the 15th State General Election. The realignment of responsibilities results in changes to three key positions within the Penang State Committee for the 2021-2024 term. The individuals and their respective roles are as follows:
- Deputy State Chairman: Mr. Jagdeep Singh Deo
- Deputy State Chairman: Mr. Steven Sim Chee Keong
- State Publicity Secretary: Ms. Heng Lee Lee
