KUALA LUMPUR, October 20 – Microsoft has announced the commencement of pre-orders for its new Surface products, the Surface Laptop Studio 2 and Surface Laptop Go 3, in Malaysia, starting on October 19. These devices are available for pre-order through authorized retailers and Surface commercial resellers in the country. Customers who place pre-orders for the Surface Laptop Studio 2 and Surface Laptop Go 3 from October 19 to November 8, 2023, will enjoy exclusive pre-order promotions.
Pre-orders for the Laptop Studio 2 will include a complimentary Surface Slim Pen 2 (valued at RM559), while pre-orders for the Laptop Go 3 will make buyers eligible for a complimentary Sennheiser CX True Wireless Earbuds (worth RM679). In addition, all consumer pre-orders will come with a one-month free subscription to Microsoft 365 and the PC Game Pass. Microsoft recently introduced Microsoft Copilot, an innovative AI companion designed to revolutionize the way people interact with technology and enhance productivity. This AI solution is available on Windows 11, Microsoft 365, Edge, and Bing, providing a seamless AI-powered experience across applications and devices.

The Surface Laptop Studio 2 is described as the most powerful Surface device ever built by Microsoft. It features a sleek anodized aluminum chassis with a vibrant 14.4-inch PixelSense™ Flow touchscreen, boasting true-to-life colors and a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. Beneath the display, an AI-enhanced field of view hosts a full HD Studio Camera with Dolby Vision IQ® and HDR. The device also offers cinematic sound through Omnisonic® speakers and Dolby Atmos®. Powered by 13th Gen Intel® Core™ H-class processors on the Intel® Evo™ platform, and equipped with the latest NVIDIA® laptop GPUs, the Laptop Studio 2 promises 2x more power and 2x more graphics performance, enabling realistic ray-traced graphics and AI-accelerated performance.

The Surface Laptop Go 3 is described as the lightest and most portable Surface Laptop, weighing less than 1.13kg. It features a vibrant 12.4-inch PixelSense™ touchscreen and is available in new stylish colors: Ice Blue, Platinum, Sage, and Sandstone. Equipped with an Intel® Core™ i5 processor, it offers up to 15 hours of battery life, fast charging, and up to 16GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The device offers high-quality video and audio experiences for calling, streaming, and gaming through Omnisonic® Speakers featuring Dolby® Audio™ and dual Studio Mics, along with an HD camera that adjusts to lighting and skin tones, powered by Windows 11.
The Surface Laptop Go 3 enables productivity and creativity through Microsoft’s AI-powered tools. Clipchamp, available on this device, provides features for video creation and editing. Furthermore, it offers AI-enhanced tools in Photos for creating images from text prompts. Windows Copilot, a trusted AI assistant, enhances user experiences, providing tailored, context-specific guidance across documents and enabling voice commands. The Surface Laptop Go 3 starts at RM4,099, offering a perfect everyday laptop for work and play.
Pre-orders for these Surface devices will be available through Microsoft authorized retailers and Surface commercial resellers in Malaysia, including All IT, iTworld by SNS Network, Gloo by SNS Network, Harvey Norman, Microsoft authorized stores on Lazada and Shopee, PC Image, Senheng, and TMT by Thundermatch. The Laptop Studio 2 and the 16GB variant of the Laptop Go 3 will be exclusively available at Harvey Norman. These devices will be generally available for purchase starting from November 9, 2023.
