KUALA LUMPUR, October 23 – A significant collaboration between PETRONAS Dagangan Berhad (PDB) and Gamuda Land is set to redefine convenience within the newly developed townships of Gamuda Cove and Gamuda Gardens. This strategic partnership highlights PDB’s commitment to innovation and Gamuda Land’s dedication to creating vibrant and sustainable communities. As part of this groundbreaking alliance, residents and visitors in these townships will enjoy access to an exceptional suite of offerings from PETRONAS Dagangan, tailored to cater to their diverse needs.
The centerpiece of this partnership will feature PETRONAS stations, products, and services, along with Gentari’s electric vehicle (EV) charging units, all accessible via the Setel app. While the development of retail stations is already underway, PETRONAS Dagangan plans to introduce its mobile refueling service, ROVR, for everyday drivers in Gamuda Cove and Gamuda Gardens. This forward-thinking move underscores the company’s commitment to simplifying and enhancing everyday life, aligning with the evolving preferences of today’s customers.
In addition to these services, the townships will offer a comprehensive range of amenities, including Kedai Mesra, providing a diverse array of quality products for on-the-go customers, and Café Mesra, a welcoming space for individuals to relax and savor handcrafted coffee, hot pastries, snacks, and meals. Furthermore, the townships will feature a PETRONAS AutoExpert service center, delivering products and car maintenance services by specially trained mechanics using the latest tools and technology.
Khalil Muri, Chief Operating Officer of PETRONAS Dagangan, expressed excitement about the collaboration, stating, “We are thrilled to partner with Gamuda Land in this endeavor, which reflects PETRONAS Dagangan’s commitment to providing greater convenience to our customers. By combining our expertise in fuel and non-fuel solutions with Gamuda Land’s visionary township development approach, we fulfill our promise to simplify and enhance our customers’ everyday lives, one township at a time.”
Wong Siew Lee, Chief Operating Officer of Gamuda Land, added, “Our partnership with PETRONAS Dagangan extends our range of convenience offerings for both Gamuda Cove and Gamuda Gardens. Together, we anticipate accommodating more than 270,000 residents upon the completion of both townships, along with an expected influx of approximately 1.3 million visitors through tourism and placemaking initiatives. As our community continues to grow and more residents call Gamuda Cove and Gamuda Gardens home, this collaboration couldn’t have come at a better time.”
Gamuda Cove, a meticulously planned 1,530-acre township in Southern Klang Valley, seamlessly integrates residential and commercial developments with over 200 acres of lush parks and green spaces. The ‘Heart of Cove,’ at the core of the township, is a bustling center of commerce, housing grade A offices, a shopping mall, a hotel, and various leisure and commercial activities. It’s also home to Selangor’s latest tourism attraction, the SplashMania Waterpark. On the other hand, in Northern Klang Valley, Gamuda Gardens and Gardens Park are two nature-inspired townships seamlessly integrated into the natural undulating terrain and rolling hills.
The upcoming Luge Gardens, a 50-acre commercial and leisure hub, will include commercial, retail, and office spaces. It will also be the site for the highly anticipated Skyline Luge Activity Park from New Zealand and an enhanced Big Bucket Splash Water Play, both scheduled to open by the end of 2023. The partnership between PETRONAS Dagangan and Gamuda Land represents a significant step toward creating holistic and convenient living spaces that align with the evolving demands of modern living. This collaboration embodies the shared values of innovation, customer-centricity, and sustainability championed by both PETRONAS Dagangan and Gamuda Land.
