BAYAN LEPAS, November 27 – Amari SPICE Penang is set to captivate taste buds with its inaugural Amazing Thai Cuisine Promotion and Loy Krathong Celebration, a collaboration with Amari Bangkok and the Royal Thai Consul General in Penang. Running from November 25 to December 16, 2023, this culinary spectacle will feature popular Thai dishes crafted by Chef Poltap Paktarapantanon, also known as Chef NOT, and Amari SPICE Penang’s culinary team, led by Executive Sous Chef Yusry Yusoff. The Royal Thai Consul General in Penang sponsors two pots of Thai Holy Basil for the hotel, launching Amari SPICE Penang’s Herbs Garden on November 25, 2023.
To kick off the Amazing Thai Cuisine, Consul General Mr. Raschada Jiwalai will personally prepare “Gai Phad Kraprow – Thai Holy Basil Chicken” at the Amaya Food Gallery. Simultaneously, the event aligns with the Loy Krathong celebration week, and Mr. Jiwalai will lead the Krathong floating occasion at the hotel. Available Monday to Saturday from 6:30 pm to 10:30 pm at Amaya Food Gallery, the Amazing Thai Cuisine Buffet Dinner is priced at RM148 nett per adult and RM108 nett per senior citizen aged 60 years and above/child aged 6 to 12 years. Diners during this period stand a chance to win a 3-day/2-night stay at Amari Bangkok.
