JOHOR, December 19 – The Malaysian Golf Association (MGA) National Junior Development Program (NJDP) is thrilled to unveil the inaugural Majestic Johor Malaysian International Junior Open, scheduled to take place from November 24th to 26th, 2023, at the Tanjong Puteri Golf Resort in Pasir Gudang, Johor. This premier event, an extension of the NJDP’s successful junior tournament earlier this year, will now welcome top junior players from the Asia Pacific region. Elite junior golfers from Malaysia, Australia, Germany, Korea, Japan, Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore, India, and Sri Lanka have already confirmed their participation, promising an exciting showcase of young golfing talent.
The NJDP elite squad, representing Malaysia, is in high spirits and actively preparing for the tournament during the ongoing Junior Camp at the Tanjong Puteri Golf Resort. Fauzi Mesran, Chairman of NJDP, expressed gratitude to Johor Tourism for steadfast support and Tanjong Puteri Golf Resort for hosting this prestigious event.
