KUALA LUMPUR, January 1 — Minister of Communications and Digital Fahmi Fadzil has announced that the state-level Madani Government One Year Anniversary Programme is anticipated to kick off in the first quarter of 2024. Fahmi mentioned that the states and dates for hosting the programme would be adjusted according to suitable times and locations. He emphasized that the state-level events, though on a smaller scale, would be information-packed, highlighting the achievements, services, and policies implemented by the government over the past year.
Fahmi shared these insights after participating in the Madani Government One Year Anniversary Programme at the National Stadium in Bukit Jalil, expressing optimism about the positive atmosphere and public engagement at the event. Fahmi explained that the state-level programmes aim to inform the local community about government achievements and services, providing an opportunity for residents to benefit from the presence of various ministries under one roof. Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim had previously indicated that the Unity Government is considering organizing exhibitions similar to the Madani Government One Year Anniversary Programme at the state level.
Fahmi highlighted the encouraging response from the public and reiterated the programme’s objectives: disseminating new policies, increasing public awareness, and building trust through periodic reporting of achievements. The three-day programme, featuring showcases, touchpoint services, and well-being initiatives, concluded today.
