KUALA LUMPUR, January 9 – Datuk Seri Shamsul Iskandar Mohd Akin, the senior political secretary to the Prime Minister, has filed a police report regarding the “Dubai Move,” which is purportedly aimed at toppling the government led by Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim. Shamsul Iskandar emphasized that the police report signals the need to stop such efforts, as they disrupt the parliamentary democracy system and create political instability. He hopes for a swift police investigation, leading to the punishment of those involved. Similar police reports were reportedly filed by PKR’s Youth wing throughout the country. The “Dubai Move” allegations emerged during the vacation of opposition leaders and government figures in the United Arab Emirates.
