This groundbreaking sensor allows burst speeds of up to 120 fps with no distortion or camera blackout, offering photographers unprecedented capabilities. Paired with Sony’s advanced AI autofocus system and the ability to sync flash at all shooting speeds, the Alpha 9 III introduces new possibilities for professionals to capture decisive moments.
Equipped with a 24.6MP global shutter CMOS image sensor and advanced BIONZ XR processing, the camera achieves blackout-free continuous shooting at up to 120 frames per second, enhancing the ability to capture scenes and moments imperceptible to the naked eye. The Alpha 9 III also boasts 8.0 stops of 5-axis in-body image stabilization, providing high-quality image rendering. The Alpha 9 III’s global shutter sensor delivers distortion-free image expression for both stills and videos. It can record 4K 120p high-frame-rate video without cropping, and its S-Cinetone™ feature enhances skin tones and subjects for a natural look.
Sony has prioritized professional operability, improving the grip’s shape for better handling, introducing a vertical grip option, and featuring a 4-axis multi-angle LCD monitor. The camera supports a high-speed workflow, including a playback image filter, function menu during playback, and efficient selection of images during high-speed continuous shooting. With the Alpha 9 III, Sony aims to provide photographers with enhanced capabilities and immediate delivery support. The camera is expected to be available in Malaysia from Q1 2024.
