KUALA LUMPUR, February 19 – Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim extended his well wishes and visited Economy Minister Rafizi Ramli, who is currently undergoing treatment in the hospital. Anwar took to his Facebook and X accounts today to express his prayers for Rafizi’s swift recovery, highlighting that he had the opportunity to personally visit the Pandan MP during his hospital stay. While providing assurance that Rafizi’s condition has shown improvement, Anwar conveyed his hopes for a speedy recovery, invoking the Islamic expression “Insya-Allah” (God willing).
Despite the absence of specific details regarding the date, time, or hospital where Rafizi is receiving treatment, Anwar’s gesture underscores the importance of solidarity and support during challenging times. Last October, Rafizi was reported to have been rushed to Universiti Malaya Medical Centre (UMMC) after experiencing a heart attack. At that time, media reports indicated that he was in a stable condition. Anwar’s visit not only reflects personal concern but also emphasizes the importance of unity and compassion within the political community, especially during moments of adversity.
