KUALA LUMPUR, March 2 – Last year, Maxis began increasing the 5G quota for their postpaid customers, and now, after months of enjoying additional data, Maxis Postpaid Share 48 plan subscribers are also receiving a boost in their allocation. Starting from February 29, 2024, all users of this plan will receive 50GB of data compared to the previous 30GB. This allocation is a fixed quota for the shared plan and not data provided by the account holder for sharing.

Maxis provides an example where if you are a user of the Maxis Postpaid 139 plan and have two Postpaid Share 48 plans, you will receive an additional 40GB of quota, 20GB for each plan. This complimentary additional quota is limited to Maxis customers who do not subscribe to any broadband or fiber optic internet plans. Those with home internet plans already receive unlimited data. The transition will occur gradually starting on February 29.
