KUALA LUMPUR, March 8 – Burger King is marking International Women’s Day in a meaningful way by collaborating with the Women’s Aid Organisation (WAO) to recognize the vital role of women and social workers. Through the Burger Queen campaign, Burger King is distributing 200 burger sets, featuring the popular Chick’n Crisp™ burger, drinks, and fries, to express gratitude for the tireless dedication of these individuals to society.

In addition to the meal donation, Burger King is providing financial support to WAO through their WePledge: Step Up program, aiming to bolster efforts in advocating for women’s rights and supporting survivors of violence. To further commemorate International Women’s Day, Burger King is offering a special promotion on March 8th, where women purchasing any set meal above RM10.00 will receive a complimentary salted caramel or vanilla soft serve.
