KUALA LUMPUR, March 13 – Following GXBank’s recent launch, AEON Bank is now inviting registrations of interest from potential customers as it prepares for its own debut. Having received approval from Bank Negara Malaysia earlier this year, AEON Bank is gearing up for a phased roll-out of its services. Interested individuals can sign up through AEON Bank’s official Facebook page by scanning a QR code, providing their name and email address to stay updated on the bank’s forthcoming offerings. AEON Bank’s digital banking app, akin to GXBank, is poised to offer various services, including savings accounts and DuitNow Transfer transactions.

Positioned as a fully Shariah-compliant institution, all savings will generate profits, with additional features such as an expense tracker and Personal Financial Management tool to aid customers in their financial goals. Although the app is visible on Google’s PlayStore and Apple’s AppStore, it remains inaccessible to the public, suggesting internal testing is ongoing. With a phased rollout anticipated in the first half of 2024, AEON Bank’s forthcoming launch aligns with its strategic timeline, positioning it among Malaysia’s emerging digital banking landscape.
