KUALA LUMPUR, March 15 – Maxis and Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) have embarked on a three-year collaboration aimed at bridging the gap between academia and industry, providing students with valuable digital skills and exposure to technology trends. The partnership, formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), involves various initiatives such as career development programs, knowledge sharing sessions by Maxis experts, and a joint venture on electronic waste management on campus.
Through this collaboration, UiTM students will have the opportunity to enhance their digital expertise through skill development programs and educational outreach organized by Maxis. Additionally, Maxis will provide guest speakers and trainers to share industry insights and enhance students’ knowledge. Moreover, the partnership emphasizes environmental sustainability, with a joint program focusing on e-waste management on campus, aligning with Maxis’ ongoing initiatives in consumer e-waste management.
