KUALA LUMPUR, March 18 – The National Registration Department (JPN) is pleased to announce the appointment of YBrs. Tuan Badrul Hisham bin Alias as the new Director-General of the National Registration Department, effective today, February 28, 2024 (Wednesday). A seasoned civil servant with 27 years of experience, YBrs. Tuan Badrul Hisham bin Alias began his career as an Administrative and Diplomatic Officer (PTD) in 1997.
With a wealth of experience, he previously served in various capacities within JPN, including as Director of the Financial and Development Division and Director of the Identity Card Division from 2015 to 2022, before his tenure at the Ministry of Home Affairs (KDN) as the Secretary of the Registration and Organization Division on July 18, 2022. YBrs. Tuan Badrul Hisham bin Alias succeeds YBrs. Tuan Zamri bin Misman, who has been reassigned to the Legal Affairs Division (BHEUU) of the Prime Minister’s Department on February 2, 2024.
Additionally, JPN is pleased to announce the appointment of YBrs. Puan Sarinah binti Apisah as the Deputy Director-General (Operations) of the National Registration Department on February 26, 2024, replacing YBrs. Tuan Saiful Yazan bin Alwi, who has been reassigned to the Malaysian Entry and Border Agency (MCBA) of the Ministry of Home Affairs. JPN extends its utmost appreciation to YBrs. Tuan Zamri bin Misman and YBrs. Tuan Saiful Yazan bin Alwi for their invaluable contributions and dedicated service to the department.
