KUALA LUMPUR, April 6 – In an endeavor to elevate educational exchange and collaboration, the University of Nottingham Malaysia (UNM) has forged partnerships with 33 secondary schools in Malaysia and Japan. Through two separate Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs), UNM aims to amplify higher education outcomes and cultivate future-ready graduates. The first MoU, signed with 30 Malaysian high schools, offers each school three scholarship seats covering 50% of the first year’s tuition fees, providing selected students with enhanced access to a high-quality British tertiary education in Malaysia.

Among the participating schools are renowned institutions such as Tenby Schools, Asia Pacific Schools, and Chung Ling Private High School, fostering a closer relationship between UNM and prospective students. Additionally, a separate MoU with three Japanese high schools underscores UNM’s commitment to providing holistic higher education experiences. The 2-year partnership targets students following the national curriculum and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP), offering comprehensive support through workshops, seminars, counselling sessions, and international events.
