KUALA LUMPUR, April 17 – Sony introduces its latest addition to the full-frame α™ (Alpha™) E-mount lens lineup with the FE 16-25mm F2.8 G, a large-aperture wide-angle zoom lens designed for supreme image quality and excellent portability. Maintaining an F2.8 maximum aperture over the entire zoom range from 16mm to 25mm, this lens offers high-resolution performance, beautiful bokeh, and high-speed, high-precision autofocus. Weighing just 409g, the FE 16-25mm F2.8 G boasts a compact and lightweight design, making it highly portable for everyday shooting.
With features such as three ED glasses and four aspherical lenses, including one ED aspherical lens, chromatic aberration is significantly reduced, ensuring high-resolution performance from the centre of the screen to the corner. Equipped with two linear motors, it enables high-speed, quiet focusing even on fast-moving subjects, making it ideal for a variety of scenes such as astrophotography, landscapes, architecture, portraits, and selfies. The new lens will be available in Malaysia from end-April 2024, expanding the range of photographic and video expression for creators.
