BATU KAWAN, April 21 – Second Penang Bridge Sdn Bhd (JKSB) has announced the temporary closure of a section of the Sultan Abdul Halim Mu’adzam Shah Bridge from KM12.5 to KM18.5, starting from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., from April 23, 2024 (Tuesday) to April 25, 2024 (Thursday). The contraflow lane will be activated throughout the closure period.
This closure is necessary to facilitate cable inspection works on the main span and will resume normal operations after the completion of the inspection. JKSB advises the public to adhere to all signboards and instructions given during this period and appreciates the cooperation of all highway users.
