KUALA LUMPUR, May 24 – A dynamic collaboration of 5 experienced producers from RTM’s Documentary and Magazine Unit (UMD RTM) has produced 13 new biographical documentaries titled “DIA”. This exclusive documentary series premiered on 6 May, airing every Monday at 10:00 PM on the Okey channel and RTMKlik streaming platform. “DIA” delves into the lives, struggles, and triumphs of prominent figures, viral personalities making positive impacts, sports personalities, and creative artists.
The introductory episode features the remarkable story of resilient woman Masyitah Mohd Afandy, who became blind after a road accident, showcasing her resilience and determination through life’s challenges, serving as an inspiring example for viewers. Highlighted personalities in “DIA” include Tan Sri Dr. Noor Hisham Abdullah, Dato’ Baharuddin Abu Kassim, Dato’ Aripin Said, Zaiton Sameon, and Datuk Marina Chin.
Led by Executive Producer Nawar Hani Kamaruddin, with Hisyamuddin Ahmad as Coordinator Producer and Azry Ahmad Mustafa Hadi as Head of Production, also serving as director and producer, the “DIA” team promises a captivating and insightful viewing experience.
