ISKANDAR PUTERI, May 30 — The soon-to-open OZO Medini Johor has announced the appointment of Pierre Boudville as its inaugural Hotel Manager. With over two decades of experience in the hospitality sector, Pierre brings extensive expertise to his new role. Previously, he served as Director of Operations at Amari Johor Bahru, where he played a key role in the hotel’s success.
Pierre expressed his enthusiasm for leading the pre-opening team at OZO Medini Johor, emphasizing the brand’s focus on creating enjoyable guest experiences and bringing fresh energy to the hospitality scene in Medini. Set to open in July 2024, OZO Medini will feature 198 rooms, including suites, and will be the second OZO hotel in Malaysia, following OZO Georgetown Penang.
This launch marks Malaysia as the first country outside of Thailand to host all three ONYX brands: Amari, OZO, and Shama. Pierre’s appointment is seen as a strategic move to ensure the successful introduction and operation of OZO Medini Johor in the growing city of Medini.
