KUALA LUMPUR, Jun 1 — Microsoft Malaysia has announced a price increase for its Microsoft 365 Family subscription, raising the monthly fee from RM36 to RM41. This change, effective from July 1, 2024, is attributed to market conditions requiring adjustments to maintain service quality.
The Microsoft 365 Family plan includes access to the latest Microsoft Office productivity software and 6TB of shared data storage across six Microsoft accounts. The last price hike was mid-last year, and with this new increase, the annual subscription rate is also expected to rise, with updates anticipated on Microsoft Malaysia’s website in July.
