KUALA LUMPUR, June 1 — Rumours have surfaced suggesting that Nvidia’s first PC CPU, expected in 2025, will utilize off-the-shelf ARM Cortex X5 cores and will be manufactured by Intel. This unprecedented collaboration indicates Nvidia’s strategy to integrate its own Blackwell GPU cores with ARM’s processing units, potentially marking a significant shift in the CPU market landscape.

The speculative specs, shared by @XpeaGPU, hint at a system-on-chip (SoC) featuring a Cortex X5 CPU cluster, Blackwell integrated GPU, and LPDDR6 memory. While initial claims pointed to TSMC’s N3P node for production, others suggest Intel’s 3nm process might be used instead. This partnership could enable Nvidia to deliver high-performance, low-power chips for laptops and other devices, enhancing its position in the competitive tech industry.
