KUALA LUMPUR, June 8 – Maxis is poised to finalize the Digital Nasional Berhad (DNB) share subscription agreement (SSA) and sign the Shareholders Agreement (SHA) with DNB. This positions Maxis for an early completion of the SSA process, enabling its participation in the rollout of Malaysia’s second 5G network, ahead of the timeline announced by Communications Minister YB Fahmi Fadzil on 2 June 2024.
Maxis CEO Goh Seow Eng stated, “We aim to conclude the SSA process promptly to provide greater certainty for the nation’s dual 5G network rollout. Completing the SSA is essential to begin the transition to a dual 5G network.
