Key highlights include iPhone Mirroring, which extends Continuity by allowing users to control their iPhone directly from their Mac, and major updates to Safari, such as the new Highlights feature for effortless information discovery.
The update also includes a dedicated Passwords app for streamlined credential management and introduces Apple Intelligence, a personal intelligence system that leverages generative models to simplify everyday tasks. Gaming on macOS Sequoia gets a significant boost with highly anticipated titles like Assassin’s Creed Shadows and Frostpunk 2, along with immersive features such as Personalized Spatial Audio and reduced audio latency with AirPods Pro (2nd generation). Developers benefit from the new Game Porting Toolkit 2, making it easier to bring advanced games to Mac. Enhanced Safari, advanced note-taking in Notes, and new capabilities in Messages, Maps, and Photos further enrich the Mac experience, making macOS Sequoia a transformative update for users.
