PUTRAJAYA, June 24 — Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has urged unity government MPs to ensure their attendance at the upcoming Dewan Rakyat sittings, which begin on June 24 and run until July 18. This call to action was emphasized during a pre-council meeting held at Seri Perdana yesterday.
“Everyone has been asked to attend Parliament tomorrow. Don’t be absent,” said Foreign Minister Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan following the meeting, which ended at 6:15pm. Key figures such as Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, Home Minister Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail, and Defence Minister Datuk Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin were among the attendees, underscoring the importance of this parliamentary session.
