GEORGE TOWN, June 25 — DAP national chairman Lim Guan Eng has dismissed rumours of the unity government negotiating with PAS to join the federal government. The Bagan MP confirmed that DAP ministers stated there were no discussions at the highest levels, including during a recent pre-council briefing with Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim. In a statement on Facebook, Lim emphasized that Anwar did not mention any talks with PAS.

Instead, the Prime Minister expressed frustration over the Opposition’s politicization of government investments, particularly involving BlackRock’s involvement with Khazanah Nasional Bhd and the Employees Provident Fund (EPF). Lim criticized those spreading false information about DAP’s involvement with PAS, accusing them of attempting to tarnish DAP’s image and reminding unity government members to avoid confusing the public with baseless rumours.
