PUTRAJAYA, June 30 — The Ministry of Education (MoE) has announced a call for public input to shape a new education development plan to succeed the Malaysia Education Blueprint (MEB) 2013-2025. The MoE is inviting suggestions from various parties in the form of memorandums or proposal papers, aiming for a comprehensive and holistic approach to the future education plan, which will cover 2026 to 2036.

The public can submit their suggestions via a dedicated portal (https://www.moe.gov.my/pelanpendidikan2026/public) until December 31, 2024. This initiative follows calls from groups like G25, which have emphasized the need for comprehensive reforms to ensure equitable access to quality education, a balanced curriculum, and enhanced English proficiency. The MoE is committed to making these education reforms a success for the benefit of future generations, addressing key issues in the current education system.
