PUTRAJAYA, July 11 – The Islamic Tourism Centre (ITC) is set to host the 4th World Islamic Tourism Conference (WITC) in Kuala Lumpur from 12-13 September 2024, with the theme “Forging Connections.” The event will bring together 500 key industry players to discuss the rapid expansion of Islamic Tourism and Muslim-Friendly Tourism and Hospitality (MFTH), exploring trends, strategies, and opportunities in this growing sector.
The conference will feature four tracks: “Understanding Muslim Tourists,” “Muslim-Friendly Travel and Community,” “Growth and Opportunity,” and “Inclusivity.” These tracks will cover topics such as digitalisation, sustainable practices, and community empowerment, aiming to foster economic collaboration, cultural exchange, and innovation in Islamic Tourism.
