KUALA LUMPUR, July 16 — Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim announced his intention to meet with participants of the Walk of Justice event, organized by the Teoh Beng Hock Association for Democratic Advancement (TBH-ADA), who marched to Parliament yesterday.
“I am aware of the incident that occurred outside Parliament today involving the family of the late Teoh Beng Hock. I assure that I will meet with them soon and review their memorandum,” Anwar stated on X (formerly Twitter). The march, led by Beng Hock’s sister Teoh Lee Lan, aimed to deliver a memorandum to the Prime Minister, seeking further investigation into Teoh Beng Hock’s death following his questioning by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC).
