PETALING JAYA, July 17 — CelcomDigi Berhad today inaugurated its CelcomDigi AI Experience Centre (AiX), an advanced innovation hub designed to foster the development of cutting-edge digital solutions. Supported by a global network of technology leaders and local partners, AiX will focus on cross-industry collaborations, leveraging technologies such as 5G, AI, XR, robotics, analytics, and the metaverse to drive Malaysia’s digital transformation. The Centre, launched by Communications Minister YB Fahmi Fadzil, aims to spur the growth of digital startups, enterprises, and future skills.
CelcomDigi CEO Datuk Idham Nawawi emphasized the importance of keeping pace with emerging technologies to build a thriving digital nation. The AI Experience Centre, located at CelcomDigi Hub in Subang Jaya’s Hi-Tech Park, features two main spaces, The Infinity and The Gallery, which offer immersive and interactive digital society simulations. The Centre also houses AI-RA, an AI digital human, and a collaborative space for startups and enterprises to co-create and test new solutions. AiX, developed with an investment of RM55 million, is powered by an extensive ecosystem of 40 global technology leaders, including Huawei, ZTE, and Microsoft.
