KUALA LUMPUR, July 18 — Canon Marketing Malaysia announced today the EOS R5 Mark II, a new full-frame mirrorless camera that surpasses the EOS R5 with its innovative features. Highlighted by a 45-megapixel back-illuminated (BSI) stacked CMOS sensor and the Accelerated Capture image processor system, the camera also boasts Eye Control AF and Cinema EOS functionalities. “The EOS R5 Mark II integrates the finest elements of the EOS R5 with revolutionary innovations, setting a new standard of excellence for videographers, content creators, and hybrid shooters,” said Edward Chang, Head of Image Communication Business Division at Canon Marketing Malaysia.
The EOS R5 Mark II is equipped with Dual Pixel Intelligent AF for advanced subject tracking and detection, and offers internal 8K DCI 60p RAW video recording. It also features Cinema EOS system capabilities for professional video production, including 4K DCI 60p SRAW and Apple ProRes RAW external recording up to 8K 30p. Designed for demanding shoots, the camera includes a 5-axis In-Body IS, enhanced weather sealing, and improved power management with the new Battery Pack LP-E6P. This powerful new camera promises to elevate visual storytelling and creative content to unprecedented levels.
