KUALA LUMPUR, July 21 – Kuala Lumpur Fashion Week (KLFW) 2024 promises to elevate the city’s fashion scene with its 12th edition, showcasing over 50 designers and brands in a striking venue at the base of the PETRONAS Twin Towers. Running from July 29 to August 4, the event will unfold in a bespoke 12,000 sqft structure set against the iconic skyline. This year marks KLFW’s first foray into public livestreaming, allowing fashion enthusiasts to experience the runway from afar.
The week will feature fresh talent including Akudesign and Corak, alongside established names like Rizman Ruzaini and Nurita Harith. Highlights include the “Fashion Forward Batik Malaysia” segment, spotlighting traditional batik in a contemporary light, and the “Design To Sustain” segment, showcasing the innovative work of emerging designers. With a focus on diversity and modernity, KLFW 2024 is set to redefine the landscape of Malaysian fashion and reinforce Kuala Lumpur’s status as a global fashion destination.
