GEORGE TOWN, July 31 — The Penang Heritage Photography Fiesta 3.0 concluded successfully on Sunday, celebrating Penang’s rich culinary traditions with a prize presentation for 16 winners across three competition categories. Jointly organized by PPB Group Berhad, PPB Properties, and SONY Malaysia, and supported by venue sponsor GSC, the event showcased the traditional flavors of Penang through an impressive array of photography and videography entries.
The competition, which began in May with workshops and photo walks led by SONY professionals, saw enthusiastic participation from over 700 individuals. The awards ceremony, held at GSC Gurney Plaza, featured live screenings of finalist videos and a showcase of top photographs. An exhibition at The Whiteaways Arcade from July 15 to 31 further highlighted the winning entries and professional works, underscoring the event’s role in preserving and celebrating Penang’s cultural heritage.
