JOHOR BARU, August 2 — iMin Technology, a leading provider of Android-based Point of Sales (POS) hardware in Southeast Asia, has officially opened its new manufacturing facility in Johor, Malaysia. This marks iMin’s first production plant in Malaysia and a significant milestone in its expansion strategy. The grand opening ceremony was attended by notable figures including YB Lee Ting Han, Johor State Executive Member, and Mr. Hu Aimin, CEO of iMin Technology, among others.
The new Johor facility will enhance iMin’s manufacturing capabilities and strengthen its supply chain to meet the growing global demand. YB Lee Ting Han highlighted that iMin’s decision reflects confidence in Malaysia’s economic stability and business environment, while Mr. Sikh Shamsul Ibrahim Sikh Abdul Majid of MIDA praised the investment for its potential to advance Malaysia’s technology sector through innovations in IoT and AI. iMin’s CEO, Hu Aimin, emphasized the strategic advantages of Malaysia’s business landscape and expressed optimism about contributing to the local economy and workforce through this expansion.
