GEORGE TOWN, August 6 – Penang Chief Minister YAB Tuan Chow Kon Yeow has announced the extension of Deputy Chief Minister II, YB Jagdeep Singh Deo’s sick leave until August 9, 2024. The decision follows an update from YB Jagdeep on August 2, 2024, regarding his health status.
YB Jagdeep reported that his condition is improving, and on medical advice, he has requested an extension of his sick leave to continue necessary treatment. Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow has approved this extension to ensure YB Jagdeep receives the required care during this period.
