KUALA LUMPUR, August 8 — The Health Ministry (MoH) plans to synchronize the deployment of medical experts with infrastructure development to address local healthcare needs, according to Health Minister Datuk Seri Dzulkefly Ahmad. Speaking at a meeting he chaired yesterday, Dzulkefly emphasized the need to address overcrowding and poor facilities in various regions, including Sabah, Sarawak, Johor, and Kelantan.

Dzulkefly outlined two key initiatives: aligning infrastructure development with local healthcare demands and addressing the uneven distribution of medical resources. He acknowledged the challenges but expressed confidence that, with collective support, improvements would be achieved to enhance healthcare services nationwide.
