SUBANG, August 8 — Starting August 1, 2024, six airlines will resume narrow-body aircraft operations at Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport (LTSAAS) in Subang, Selangor. Transport Minister Anthony Loke announced that FireFly, AirAsia Malaysia, Batik Air Malaysia, SKS Airways, Transnusa, and Scoot Pte Ltd will be operating from the airport, with the first flight scheduled to depart at noon and the last flight leaving at 10pm daily to minimize noise disturbances for local residents.

The airport’s Skypark terminal has undergone significant upgrades to support these operations, including the addition of new check-in counters, self-service facilities, and improved security measures. The reconfigured apron will accommodate six narrow-body jets, and the airport’s immigration counters have been increased to streamline passenger processing. The Skypark Link train service to KL Sentral is expected to resume by 2027, contingent on passenger demand and increased flight operations.
