Apple is preparing its first major redesign of the Mac mini since 2010, according to a Bloomberg report. The revamped Mac mini, expected to launch later this year, will be notably smaller, adopting a form factor akin to the Apple TV. The new design will feature two configurations: one with an M4 chip and another with the more powerful M4 Pro chip.
The redesigned Mac mini will come with at least three USB-C ports, an HDMI port, and a power cable. While it will have a reduced overall footprint compared to its predecessor, it may be slightly taller, echoing the compact design of the Apple TV 4K. The M4 Pro model will also offer options for increased RAM and enhanced graphics capabilities, catering to a range of user needs.
