CHERAS, August 20 — Terengganu FC showcased their prowess in the Liga Super with a convincing 2-0 win over Kuala Lumpur City FC, thanks to a brilliant performance by captain Safawi Rasid. The match, held at the Cheras Stadium, saw a temporary 15-minute delay due to floodlight issues. Once resumed, Terengganu broke the deadlock with an impressive strike from foreign forward Manuel Ott, who scored after a low cross from Azam Azmi Murad.

Safawi Rasid sealed the victory with a stunning free kick in the 70th minute, curling the ball into the top left corner of the net and leaving KL City’s goalkeeper Azri Ghani with no chance. With this win, Terengganu climbs back to third place in the league standings with 14 points from seven matches, while KL City drops to fifth with 11 points.
