BAYAN LEPAS, August 21 – B. Braun Medical Industries Sdn. Bhd. (BMI) has successfully raised RM226,500 through its B. Braun Charity Run 2024, benefiting three local charities: Persatuan Kebajikan HOPE Worldwide Malaysia, Pertubuhan Rumah Kebajikan Seri Cahaya Penang, and House of Hope. The event saw 630 employees participating, reinforcing the company’s dedication to community support. Since its inception in 2018, the charity run has raised a total of RM1,488,040 for various causes.
The funds will address urgent community needs, including educational, medical, and living expenses for children and families served by the charities. Additionally, part of the donation will provide basic healthcare and food assistance to approximately 400 Orang Asli families. Mr. Lam Chee Hong, President of B. Braun Asia Pacific, expressed pride in the event’s success, highlighting the company’s commitment to making a positive community impact.
