KUALA LUMPUR, August 21 – Maxis has teamed up with Singtel to unveil Malaysia’s first comprehensive 5G orchestration platform, integrating 5G network, edge computing, and cloud services. Introduced at the Malaysia Commercialisation Year (MCY) Summit 2024, the platform, built on Singtel’s Paragon, aims to accelerate digital transformation across key sectors including manufacturing, logistics, and healthcare.

The collaboration was formalized with an MoU exchange between Goh Seow Eng, CEO of Maxis, and Manoj Prasanna Kumar, CTO of Singtel Digital InfraCo. The new platform, available through Maxis Business, offers Malaysian enterprises on-demand edge computing services such as low-latency processing and GPU as a Service (GPUaaS).

With its advanced multi-access edge computing (MEC) capabilities and AI integration, it enables real-time data processing and intelligent decision-making. Paragon also features a marketplace for easy creation of network slices and deployment of critical 5G applications, streamlining the digital innovation process for businesses.
